John Cordos

John Cordos is a Vice President and Co-Founder of Cordos Development & Associates, LLC. John is a construction manager with a 15-year record of success overseeing all phases of multimillion-dollar construction and infrastructure projects for private-sector clients. With strong credentials and a proven history of on time, on budget and high quality projects, John’s experience includes managing crews of up to 50 in residential and commercial construction projects.

As Cordos’s Director of Field Operations, John ensures that field personnel are equipped with the proper resources to successfully manage the project from mobilization to occupancy. As the firm’s corporate safety officer, John’s oversight also ensures that the firm’s stringent safety program is successfully implemented with a goal of zero RIR through project completion.

With a penchant for heavy vertical construction John is often assigned to initial phases of large complex projects. He will be tasked with successfully bringing each building out of the ground, including such recent projects as the Mayne Stage and Annex in Rogers Park, the Falcon Boxing Gym, the restoration of Frank Lloyd Wright’s Emile Bach House, and the post-tensioned concrete Sheridan Sherwin parking structure.

  • OSHA Hazardous Waste Operations & Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) Certification

  • Also Certified in Construction Safety, Confined Space Entry and First Aid/CPR

  • Rail Training certification
