Valued at $1.7 million, Verilife Ottawa was a 6,000 SF renovation project for a popular multi-state cannabis retailer. The existing facility had previously housed many different businesses, most recently a fitness gym. Cordos mobilized in October of 2023, demolishing the interior and bringing the space up to white box standards while reworking underground plumbing for the layout of the new store.

Cordos teamed up with subcontractors local to the area and preferred experts from our connections in Chicago to facilitate an efficient, code compliant, and clean project; transforming the existing space into a polished retail store. Cordos' client-first approach and design-assist experience helped align existing conditions with approved plans.

Verilife Ottawa was the first of many projects in a large rebranding program for Verilife. Both the North Aurora and Ottawa stores were completed simultaneously, as Cordos’ team worked closely with the client to refine their design and processes to continue the program in Illinois, New York, and Ohio markets.
